If all emotion is natural and shouldn't be suppressed, why is it then that we all think that our feelings and heart are us? Does that mean I can murder this guy to my left, fuck whoever I want, and run naked down the street? Shame becomes us and insecurity is a fault to be overcome, but yet emotions are supposed to be a direct line from our soul. Is emotion the current or the motor on the back of the boat? Does it drive us or does it direct us? Basically my question is the simple question that has been asked forever, who am I? What is my existance.
